Job Description:
Alliance Learning is an Independent Training Provider holding a direct DfE contract to deliver engineering apprenticeships. We are expanding our electrical provision and are looking for an experienced, qualified electrician who wants to pass on their trade to the next generation.

You will teach, coach and assess a caseload of apprentices on the **Installation and Maintenance Electrician (ST0152) Level 3 apprenticeship**, taking them from enrolment through to gateway and the **AM2S end-point assessment**. You will:

- Plan and deliver engaging theory and practical sessions covering BS 7671, safe isolation, installation methods, inspection, testing, commissioning and fault-finding

- Prepare apprentices for the mandatory Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification and the AM2S

- Carry out regular progress reviews with apprentices and employers, setting clear, stretching targets

- Assess and record evidence accurately, ensuring off-the-job training and progress are tracked

- Embed English, maths, safeguarding, Prevent and British values into your delivery

- Support apprentices' wellbeing, behaviours and readiness for industry
Essential Skills:
- **Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrotechnical Services (or equivalent time-served qualification)**

- **AM2 / AM2S assessment pass**

- **BS 7671 Wiring Regulations – current edition (18th Edition, incl. latest amendment)**

- **Inspection and Testing qualification** (e.g. C&G 2391 or 2394/2395)

- **ECS Gold Card** (Installation or Maintenance Electrician) or eligibility for one

- Substantial, recent industry experience as an installation and/or maintenance electrician, with up-to-date knowledge of current practice and technologies (e.g. EV charging, solar PV, energy storage)
Desirable Skills:
- **Level 3 Award in Education and Training** (or higher), **or** willingness to achieve within 6 months

- **Assessor qualification** – Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA), or A1/D32/D33 equivalent, **or** willingness to achieve

- Level 2 English and maths (or equivalent)
