Train the Trainer - CMI Recognised Programme

The CMI Recognised Train the Trainer course is designed for employees at all levels who want to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver effective practical and theoretical training in the workplace. Over three days, delegates will learn how to plan and deliver engaging training sessions, understand different communication styles and learning cycles, use demonstrations and clear instructions, and provide effective feedback and evaluation. Assessment includes a 20-minute micro-teach, and successful candidates will receive a CMI Recognised certificate, which does not currently expire.

The Team Leader course is ideal for those new to leadership or experienced supervisors looking to develop their knowledge, skills and confidence. Over six days, learners will explore the team leader role, effective leadership styles, building positive working relationships, monitoring team performance, managing conflict and handling difficult conversations. Suitable for those with or without previous team-leading experience, the course supports career development and provides practical skills to lead teams more effectively. Learners complete workbook assessments, which are marked and quality assured by Alliance Learning before being moderated and certificated by CMI.

CMI Level 3 Award in Management Coaching & Mentoring

The Coaching and Mentoring course is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills and knowledge in supporting staff development, improving performance and helping others reach their full potential. Delivered over three consecutive weeks, the course explores the differences between coaching and mentoring, various approaches and how to develop an effective coaching and mentoring process within your organisation. Learners will complete a 2,000-word written assignment as part of the assessment.

CMI Level 3 Award in Leadership & Management

This course is ideal for junior managers, supervisors and team leaders looking to develop their management knowledge, skills and confidence. Over three days, learners will explore the management role, different leadership and management approaches, personal and professional development, how organisations operate and managing conflict. Suitable for those with existing management responsibilities or previous training who want to update their skills, the course supports career development and more effective team leadership. Learners complete workbook assessments, which are marked and quality assured by Alliance Learning before being moderated and certificated by CMI.

CMI Level 3 Award in Project Management

This qualification is designed for practicing or aspiring managers and leaders, including team leaders and junior project managers, who want to develop their project management knowledge and skills. Over 12 weeks, learners will explore the nature and structure of projects, stakeholder and team management, project planning and control, and key factors that contribute to project success. Suitable for those already working in project management or looking to build on their general management skills, assessment includes presentations, written assignments and reflective accounts.

CMI Level 5 Certificate in Project Management

This qualification is designed for practicing or aspiring managers and leaders responsible for managing projects who want to develop their professional project management skills. Over seven months, learners will explore project management principles, methodologies, project life cycles, leadership, roles and responsibilities, planning and delivery, and how to manage a genuine workplace project from proposal through to completion. Suitable for project, operations, departmental, regional and specialist managers, assessment includes presentations, written assignments, reflective accounts, project proposals and work-based evidence.

CMI Level 5 Certificate in Leadership & Management

The CMI Level 5 qualification is designed for operational managers looking to develop their leadership and management skills, with access to CMI ManagementDirect resources for 12 months. Covering two units, learners will explore management and leadership in an organisational context, developing and leading high-performing teams, coaching and mentoring, emotional intelligence, resilience and personal development. Delivered through six taught sessions plus a personal development session, learners complete six assignments and a Personal Development Plan, with work assessed, quality assured by Alliance Learning and moderated by CMI, leading to a Certificate in Leadership and Management.

CMI Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management & Leadership

This CMI Level 7 qualification is designed for senior managers and aspiring leaders looking to further develop their strategic management and leadership practice. Over 12 months, learners will explore strategic leadership, organisational purpose and culture, governance, stakeholder management, strategic planning, change management, critical thinking, decision making and personal development. The course also focuses on leading strategic change, including developing change proposals and effective communication strategies. Suitable for directors, CEOs, senior, regional and specialist managers, assessment includes presentations, reports, written assignments, reflective accounts, briefing papers and proposals.
